Since 1990 year engaged in hobbyist creation and playing music (youtube with nick Mikexception) and at the same time developing super real creation of sound with conventional drivers and passive crossovers.

Who in the 60tie's years teenagers generation on earth does not remind the magnetic beauty of pop and rock music received with traditional tube radio receivers using usually one or few not big speaker drivers? Who in Europe do not remind Radio Luxemburg 208 or transmissions of good music or even on short waves where the acoustic frequency band was a bit more? Was there any problem with boring, no clarity of sounds? Well, everybody dreamed about deeper bass and sharper image, and if eventually done it with better driver and enclosure it resulted with simply an addiction and making private discos for the same amazed friends.
Then year by year with the appearance of semiconductors capable to deliver much more power, change has come. Classic wide range speakers were out due to fact that for such power their physical and overall size was no applicable to standard room. Not only room - with dimensions serving still the same acoustic frequencies correlate grow of diaphragm weight and it's loss of stiffness. Invention of compact lowtoner helped with one "small" mistake - this invention couldn't handle whole music - tweeter was a must to rectify Doppler problem and transmit sopranos. Impression was not so nice - distorted upper band and boring continuous low. Something was lost but many in 70-ties accepted this disadvantages due to having dream come truth about bass and sharpness . Amazed by extremum of limits and a new technologies.... Apparently with years passing-by, care of best producers was put to get more linear upper band and less resonant lower band focusing on special characteristics and materials. Tweeters made with titanium, polycarbon, glass, non resonant boxes of stone, marble. Nevertheless we can observe the charm of audio is bleak as warm and friendly sound is gradually gone. Mainly older generation, remembering old days, still beliefs in miracle of sound. That is sad truth about today's audio..
Listeners frustration of this phenomena became area of hunting for lost impression by turning back to long time rejected apparatus, like tubes, black LP's, reel tapes or cassette tape. As the main agenda of this search for analog sound is focused to problem with digital converting, there is no special attention given to speaker systems. It looks like no much can be done due to unsolved problem of power in drivers being capable of handling whole music band. There are nice tries of adaptation - tube speakers, wide band - anyway, the problems of band width and loudness are still back.
Above frustration, also by himself, was for author a base of creation modern power three way speaker set having advantages of analog sound, carrying upgraded linearity for Doeppler distortions with extended low tones, comparing to bass reflex or compact box. The acoustic solution is unique developed by author but it is not a subject of this letter - diagram can be found here in "Audio stuff" . Using phrase "analogue speaker' may seem to be weird - we all know that conventional driver is obviously analogue. In authors thoughts multiband system unfortunately becomes not the same analogue as full widerange. In some weird philosophy we may think it is kind of primitive digital where final sound is a result of mathematical sum of few analogue samples where physical operation of adding is done out of our control in the air. Analogue plus analogue would be still analogue if done without impairment. Author beliefs unfortunately it is not the case..
Sound material has complexity of wide armed tree. If we shall cut it's trunk, middle arms and top, how to imagine its reconstruction? First our problem would be already to segregate what count for what.
Then, when we get them back, they do not match by volumes and by phase. It is no strange that average speaker set developers put attention to lower trunk and highly placed top, diminishing not solved reconstruction of middle puzzle!
May be You will not trust to author's hard talking but the proof is simple - in majority of preamplifiers is incorporated tone control . Why on earth nobody imagines even to use them in both - sopranos and bass minus range? Having band quality of portable solid state radios is SO BAD??? Portables transmit just middle of range and they do it ok. Their only problem is limited width of band. Why average listener push tone knobs in Hi Fi gear in plus? In author's opinion answer is one: middle range is so much faulty that for standard multiband speaker it is unbearable to listen ! And by pushing ahead this faults simply become not noticeable - sadly "good" midrange in their company. . There is no reasonable explanation why shouldn't it be as ok as for any small midrange except : because we couldn't make them natural.
Author thinks and knows we can because in his past experience many times he tried synthesize sound together : multiband conventional wide range speaker plus separate additional amplifier and wide range to cover problem. It was always improvement.
Presented solution of analogue set MATCH masks electrical cuts with "scanned" original with invention author calls Crossfrequency management - resonant "joints" cannot be heard by listener because they are in analogue way repaired. Above mentioned repair of distorted signals in much degree is done still within the crossover network by inductance couplings . It is made under our control within the circuitry- outside in the air are added not phase distorted volume weighted signals which have cross frequencies different from LC resonance cross frequencies.
Nevertheless that layout of diagram looks unusual simple, the functioning is not so. Author presents functioning here in separate article. The gear uses only passive standard parts. Differences from wide used is it's double function: serial and parallel - parallel for power division, serial for crossfrequency in drivers - and high requirements for precision of couplings final tuning.
Mentioned project was directly presented during AES Convention , also in press in 1991 -1995 but due to time reasons related to author's engagement in marine automation in Singapore proper testing and full sound precision could not be achieved. Anyway during presentations listeners appreciated great level of improvement in sound. For church organ for example was complemented that it was better than reality. Ups, today, after years developments author admits that it was tuning not perfect and now it is just reality. Above crossmanagement system was applied to 4 different acoustic solutions ranging from 10 liters bass reflex box to 70 liters transmission line and different sets of speaker drivers and proven always advantages.
Althought author received warm interest, some specialist in ninetees years argued that this type of impression was in difference with standards of audio where maximum analytic approach was in demand. Today it looks that the time for analogue speaker is set just right according to listeners demands.for not fatigue and real sound and many reject "analytic goodness" above all.
Last two years allowed making general measurements and accurate tunig. Invention as adopted in this days was published by Polish National Patent Office in 1993 y.
21 author's thesies
Author in past years was hobbyist for technique in different aspects. By occasion of servicing audio and TV stuff experienced interesting happenings which couldn't be explained by past or even modern popular knowledge of audio. To understand it and use in his wish of pleasant sound, he build first speaker constructions. And in this times speakers were according to below presented classes : round, elliptical, big and small .Yea, I think no more classes. At first: frequency dedicated speakers were out of range at second: ..hmmm their advantages were not covering created by multiway technics problems..
It took author about two years of consequence, reading the books and hammering in 60-ties to get to the point. Quite unexpectedly simple combination of speaker, enclosure and localization in perfect room presented to him world of mono sound. It was no comparable to existing then stuff - the concert hall "could be seen" through and the rain was inside. Unfortunately construction was "too real", sound was so natural and "normal" that it seemed "it can be only better" so it lured him to improvements, at priority with stereo and solid state. First disappointment came with this old days solid state - they coudn't match good tubes and the problem was addressed to feedback. In 70ties TIM were localized and announced to others. But was it only TIM ? See my another article about passive power of LC filters. Going on was the beginning of sad story of experimenting with all kinds of combinations, with multi band stuff and enclosures. About 20 of them he made and upgraded painfully. Main conclusion after years was that quantity of drivers does not input to listening satisfaction. Popular knowledge was as useless as at the beginning.. Most theories were out. Author is not able do proof why - complication of subject is too big to provide any proof.
But presented list of problems and observations in author's opinion may be helpfull to reach the goal of real sound..
